I am pleased to share that consent has been granted by the NSW Land and Environment Court to our Client’s development application for a sizeable two storey complex of 105 industrial units in Concord West.
The appeal allowed the Applicant team to navigate issues arising from the residential development surrounding the industrial zoned site, while also addressing the issues arising from the flood planning requirements on the site and in the vicinity. This was certainly an Application where an in-depth understanding of engineering principles was useful in resolving the technical flooding issues.
The result will facilitate the delivery of much needed modern industrial use facilities into the Sydney market and landscape.
Congratulations to our Client and all involved including:
Architect: Algorry Zappia
Planning: Michael Brown Planning Strategies
Flood Engineering: David Tetley
Civil Engineering: Integrated Group Services (IGS)
Traffic: Robert Varga
Contamination: Canopy
Landscape: Scapewise
